Terms of Service

By creating an account on PDFx Builder (pdfxbuilder.com, the “Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

PDFx Builder is a visual editor that lets you design PDF templates, export the resulting code, and optionally render PDFs through a hosted API. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@pdfxbuilder.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (Polar). Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Lifetime plans are one-time purchases and are non-recurring. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

API call allowances reset monthly on the first of each calendar month. Unused calls do not roll over.

If the Service does not work as described and you contact us within 14 days of purchase, we will issue a refund. Contact support@pdfxbuilder.com.

You retain all rights to the templates, data, and PDFs you create. We process your content only to provide the Service (rendering PDFs, storing templates you save). We do not sell your content or use it to train machine learning models.

You agree not to: (a) attempt to disrupt or overload the Service; (b) reverse-engineer or circumvent API quotas or security boundaries; (c) use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights; (d) share or resell API keys.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFx Builder is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; this permanently removes your templates and API keys.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email and/or an in-app banner at least 14 days before taking effect.
